Four-alarm Hayes Valley fire damages building, displaces 8 people

(KRON) -- A four-alarm fire was reported in the Hayes Valley area of San Francisco on Tuesday morning, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. Man dies after fire starts near I-980 in Oakland The building was under construction, and the flames reached all floors. A total of four buildings nearby were evacuated for safety during the blaze. Five buildings are being examined for damages as well. A neighbor nearby said her windows burst from the heat of the flames. At least a dozen fire trucks responded to the scene. No injuries have been reported at this time. So far, eight people have been displaced by this fire, but that number could grow by a small amount in the coming hours. By 7:30 a.m., the flames had been extinguished and water that had been doused on fire was visible throughout the structure. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- One person is in custody in connection to a shooting near a San Francisco nightclub that left three people injured earlier this year, the San Francisco Police Department said. The shooting occurred on June 10 at 11:54 p.m. near the Stratos Night Club in Ingleside.Officers responded to the 300 block of Ocean Avenue on a report of a shooting. At the scene, they located two men and one woman -- all suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Aid was rendered, medics were summoned, and the victims were transported to the hospital and treated. (AP) — Devyn Reiley, the daughter of two-time Super Bowl winner Bruce Collie, was one of four people who died in two separate crashes related to a Wisconsin aircraft convention over the weekend, event organizers say.Reiley, 30, was a co-founder of the Texas Warbird Museum and was flying in a World War II-era T-6 Texan, which went down in Lake Winnebago on Saturday morning.
